One dressed baby doll with a molded bisque-type head and painted facial features. The impressed marking on the rear/neck area visibly reads “Grace S. Putnam.” The doll wears a white long-sleeved gown with pintucking, lace edging, embroidery, gatheredruffles, and pale blue ribbon bows. The gown’s originality is unconfirmed. The head has discoloration, grime, dark marks, abrasion-like rubbing, and visible wear or unevenness to some painted eye and lip details. The clothing is soiled or yellowed inplaces, wrinkled, and has loose threads and worn or frayed lace. Eye construction and operation, body material, lower-body condition, and completeness are undetermined because the clothing obscures those areas. The additional impressed line beneaththe name is illegible. Auction materials and handling hands are not included.
