Two-piece covered porcelain box with a fitted domed lid and matching scalloped base. The lid features a multicolored floral bouquet with extensive gilt edging and ornament. The underside bears an uncertain blue crossed-swords-type mark and partiallylegible cursive inscription. Gilt decoration is extensively worn, thin, and patchy around the lid rim, base rim, and scalloped edges. Minor surface marks, handling wear, and dark speckling or dirt are visible inside the base. No obvious majorfracture, large chip, or repaired break is visible in the supplied views; concealed damage cannot be ruled out. Lid fit is shown but not mechanically tested.
