1990 Snap-on Toolmates Collection Mug Set

This is a 1990 Snap-on Toolmates Collection lot that centers on a group of Snap-on insulated Thermo-Serv mugs and cups featuring the pin-up calendar girl graphics that Snap-on used in this promotion, along with two original boxes marked 1990 Snap-on Toolmates Collection Special Delivery. The lot also includes a yellow Snap-on and Pennzoil number 1 Rick Mears Indy race car made by GAY Toys of Walled Lake Michigan, item number 810, made in the USA. There are roughly a dozen mugs in black, white, and red, some marked with dates and edition text such as 1988 Toolmate Edition. These Snap-on advertising mugs are collected by tool and racing fans, and single mugs commonly sell for about 10 to 20 dollars each while the toy car adds more. The mugs and car show light wear and dust, and the boxes are worn and stained. Estimated Value: $75 to $150 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is.
