Wolverine and Gray Fox Tanned Fur Pelts

This lot includes two tanned animal fur pelts (1) a wolverine pelt with the deep brown fur and the lighter tan side bands that wolverines are known for, along with a full bushy tail, and (2) a gray fox pelt with grizzled gray, black, and rust colored fur and a black tipped tail. Both are soft tanned skins with the face, legs, and tail present, each measuring roughly three feet long including the tail as shown next to the ruler. Wolverine fur is prized for parka ruffs and trim because it resists frost, and tanned wolverine pelts often sell for about 150 to 300 dollars, while gray fox pelts add roughly 30 to 60 dollars. Both pelts show good fur with normal handling wear, and the leather backs are dry in spots. The buyer is responsible for complying with all applicable wildlife, fur, and interstate transport laws.
