This is a vintage Conn Dynalevel, made by C.G. Conn Ltd of Elkhart, Indiana, likely from the 1950s or 1960s. The Dynalevel is a sound level and dynamics indicator that was used in music education, where colored balls rise inside a clear vertical column to show how loud a group is playing. The unit has a numbered control dial, on and off and fuse switches, and two speaker grilles, and it is housed in a black covered wood case with a carrying handle and a detachable cover. It comes with an Electro-Voice Model 915 crystal microphone made in the USA and a two prong power cord. The case shows age, dust, corner wear, and some corrosion on the latches, and one latch looks worn. Working condition has not been tested and it is sold as is. These vintage tube era Conn units and the Electro-Voice mic have collector interest. Estimated Value: $40 to $75 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is.
