Smith & Wesson 38-200 "Victory Model" Military & Police Revolver — .38 S&W Caliber — U.S. Property Marked Offered here is a World War II–era Smith & Wesson Military & Police "Victory Model" revolver, chambered in .38 S&W (marked on the barrel as ".38 S&W CTG"). This example bears strong provenance markings consistent with U.S. military ordnance acceptance and issue. Notable Features & Markings: 5" Barrel stamped "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" "P" proof stamp present, confirming U.S. government proof/acceptance "Flaming Bomb" ordnance proof stamp, the U.S. Ordnance Department's ordnance acceptance mark used on WWII military small arms U.S. Military Inspector's initials "WB", attributed to Col. Waldemar S.
