Colors remain vibrant with excellent preservation of the pointillist technique. Minor age-related wear consistent with age and handling. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description. Provenance Private Collection. Description This luminous coastal landscape is executed in gouache using a refined pointillist technique characterized by thousands of carefully placed color dots that merge visually to create shimmering water, flowering trees, and a vibrant pastel sky. The composition demonstrates the optical color relationships and rhythmic brushwork associated with the Neo-Impressionist movement. Attributed to Paul Signac (1863–1935), this work reflects many of the stylistic qualities associated with the artist's celebrated Neo-Impressionist paintings. Its harmonious palette, atmospheric light, and refined divisionist technique evoke the visual language that helped define French painting at the end of the nineteenth century.Condition Report:This artwork is offered as attributed to the artist referenced in the title.
