Vintage V6MRHDX "Summer of Love", a signature model for German guitarist Thomas Blug. This instrument is part of the Vintage Icon Series and is heavily inspired by the hand-painted guitar Jimi Hendrix played (and subsequently burned) at the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival. It features unique psychedelic artwork hand-applied by German artist Daniel Hahn.Technical SpecificationsDesigned in collaboration with Trev Wilkinson and Thomas Blug, the guitar includes several "pro-level" features hidden within its distressed aesthetic:Body & Neck: American Alder body with a distressed "Summer of Love" finish. Hard rock maple neck with a classic "Soft C" profile and a 7.5" radius rosewood fingerboard.Pickups & Electronics:Wilkinson WVS single-coil pickups with aged covers."Bukka" Switch: A push-push pot on the second tone control that activates a hum-canceling dummy coil.Treble Bleed: A capacitor in the volume pot to preserve high-end clarity when rolling back volume.Hardware: Wilkinson WVCD vibrato bridge and Wilkinson WJ55D E-Z-Lok tuners for improved stability.Distinct Design: Features a reversed headstock while maintaining a standard right-handed body orientation.
