Andean Motifs, Original Banknote. Original Banco Central de Reserva del Perú banknote of 5,000,000 Intis, dated January 26, 1991. Obverse: Portrait of Antonio Raimondi, renowned Italian-born naturalist and geographer who devoted his life to documenting Peru’s flora, fauna, and geography. National coat of arms at center. Serial: A3645782M. Reverse: Artistic composition with Andean motifs, including archaeological and cultural representations, emphasizing Peru’s pre-Columbian heritage. Condition: Circulated, showing folds and slight wear, but overall preserved with visible details and vibrant tones (see photos). Collectible grade. Notes: As one of the highest-denomination Intis issued before the introduction of the Nuevo Sol, this note is a striking example of Peru’s hyperinflation period. Highly valued among collectors and increasingly sought after in international auctions. Provenance: Private collection. Shipping: Worldwide, carefully packed and shipped in a protective sleeve.
