Titicaca, Original Banknote. Original Banco Central de Reserva del Perú banknote of 10 Soles de Oro, dated September 9, 1971. Obverse: Portrait of Túpac Amaru II, emblematic leader of the indigenous resistance against Spanish colonial rule. To the left, a depiction of a colonial balcony from Lima. National coat of arms at center. Serial: I253882861. Reverse: Scenic view of Lago Titicaca, with traditional reed boats (caballitos de totora) navigating its waters, an iconic representation of Andean culture. Condition: Circulated, showing moderate folds and slight wear, yet the engraving and print details remain vivid and clear (see photos). Preserved in collectible condition.
