1969 + 20 Pence 1997 – Cupronickel. Original three-coin British lot spanning three decades of Queen Elizabeth II. It includes two 10 New Pence pieces dated 1968 and 1969—early decimal issues—showing the majestic crowned lion reverse and the young portrait of the Queen on the obverse. Struck in cupronickel, each 10p measures ˜28.5 mm and weighs ˜11.3 g. The lot is completed by a 1997 20 Pence, the distinctive seven-sided coin with the crowned Tudor rose reverse and the Elizabeth II obverse (Maklouf portrait). Also cupronickel, ˜21.4 mm in diameter and ˜5 g in weight. Circulated coins with honest wear and natural toning—an attractive starter or expansion set for UK decimal coinage collectors.
