Original Banknotes. Pair of original Banco Central de Reserva del Perú banknotes of 500 Intis, issued on June 26, 1987. Obverse: Portrait of Túpac Amaru II (José Gabriel Condorcanqui), indigenous leader and revolutionary symbol of Peru’s struggle for freedom. National coat of arms at center. Serials: A6052985P & A0055235N. Reverse: Andean landscape with snow-capped mountains, traditional farmer with llama, and pre-Columbian inspired ceramic motifs. Condition: Both notes are very well preserved; crisp details and strong coloration, showing only minor handling marks (see photos). Overall VF to XF condition. Notes: Banknotes featuring Túpac Amaru II are highly valued worldwide, not only for their aesthetic but also for their historical and symbolic significance. Excellent addition to any Latin American or revolutionary heritage banknote collection. Provenance: Private collection. Shipping: Worldwide, carefully packaged in protective sleeve.
