Amaru II & Ink, Original Banknotes. Two original Banco Central de Reserva del Perú banknotes of 50 Soles de Oro, issued in the early 1970s. Obverse: Portrait of Túpac Amaru II, the great indigenous leader and symbol of Peruvian independence struggles. National coat of arms at center. Reverse: Depiction of the historic town of Tinta in Cusco, strongly linked to the rebellion of Túpac Amaru II. Serials & Dates: H98945296 (September 5, 1971) and H95333670 (October 4, 1970). Condition: Both notes well preserved for their age; light folds and circulation wear, but with vivid details and strong character (see photos). Overall excellent collectible condition. Notes: These vintage notes are highly desirable among world paper money collectors, not only for their historical figure but also for the evocative engraving of Tinta.
