MEABEL marked German bisque head doll with open mouth and visible teeth, measuring 21 inches tall. The doll features blue glass sleepy eyes and a composition body with jointed knees and stitched cloth lower limbs. The wig is long, curly, and brown. The back of the head is marked with "Germany Meabel 10 9". Appears different than the Armand Marseille MABEL doll mold in stylization and spelling. Possible recreation or another maker. The clothing includes a green striped dress with lace trim, undergarments, knit socks, and shoes. Noted condition issues include seam openings on one arm and both knees, with some areas previously taped and leather worn or split at the joints, especially on one arm. Included are all visible accessories and garments as shown. Please refer to images for all details and current condition.
