Armand Marseille 1894 DEP doll with sleepy eyes, open mouth showing teeth, and original paired wig and clothes ensemble. This doll measures 18 inches tall and features a bisque head marked "1894 A.M. 2 DEP Made in Germany" with highly detailed painted features. The body is composition and wood, showing notable age-related surface wear, including cracking and chipping to the finish, primarily on the limbs and joints. The hand-sewn green dress is completed with white lace trim, and the doll wears white stockings. The eyes are functional open-and-close (sleepy eyes) with intact lashes. Overall, the doll has wear consistent with age, especially on the body surfaces, but retains much of its period charm and original appearance.
