This is a large 30-inch German doll with a bisque head marked Armand Marseille #390 and a composition wood jointed body also marked Handwerck. The doll features blue sleep eyes with articulated lids, an open mouth with visible teeth, painted and molded facial features, and curly brown hair. It is dressed in paired period-style clothing, including a two-piece purple satin and velvet outfit trimmed with lace, black socks, and coordinating white undergarments. Includes matching purple hat with black feather. Condition shows some wear and surface marks consistent with age. May have had restorations internally and externally. **Shipping Notice: Due to the delicate nature of the doll's sleep eye mechanism, any shipped doll will arrive with the wig and skull cap removed, and the eyes secured to help minimize the risk of damage during transit.
