This is a 26-inch Karl Hartmann doll featuring a bisque head, composition and wood jointed body, and blue glass sleepy eyes. The doll displays an open mouth with teeth and finely painted facial features. The head is in great condition with no visible cracks or repairs. The paired brown wig complements the period-style lace-trimmed dress, petticoat, stockings, and blue shoes. The jointed body shows some surface wear, including paint loss at the hip joints and minor scuffs typical for age. Included are all shown garments and accessories. May have had further restoration. **Shipping Notice: Due to the delicate nature of the doll's sleep eye mechanism, any shipped doll will arrive with the wig and skull cap removed, and the eyes secured to help minimize the risk of damage during transit.
