This lot presents an Armand Marseille #971 baby doll, measuring approximately 8 inches tall. The doll features a bisque head with painted and molded features, sleep eyes, open mouth with teeth, and a jointed composition body. The marking "971 A 6/0" is clearly visible on the back of the head. The doll comes clothed in a hand-knit white sweater and cap set. Condition notes: some surface wear, discoloration, and paint loss to the composition body, particularly at joints and extremities. There may have been some professional restoration to the paint on the composition body. Fingers and toes show original painted detail.
