This is a large 34-inch composition doll marked "Handwerck 8 Germany" on the back of the bisque head, produced by renowned German maker Heinrich Handwerck. The doll features fixed brown glass eyes, open mouth with teeth, pierced ears, and curly brown paired wig. There is visible damage to the shoulder area of the composition body, as well as restoration and restrung limbs, with some notable cracking and surface wear especially at limb joints and the upper arm. Included are original-style period clothing—a checked dress, undergarments, long black socks, and a burgundy hat. Has had restorations. **Shipping Notice: Due to the delicate nature of the doll's sleep eye mechanism, any shipped doll will arrive with the wig and skull cap removed, and the eyes secured to help minimize the risk of damage during transit.
