This two-volume reference set includes the Oxford Dictionary of Thematic Quotations and The New Fowler's Modern English Usage. The volumes are bound in navy blue textured leatherette with gilt-stamped spines featuring decorative motifs and the Oxford University coat of arms. Both books are housed in a matching navy blue slipcase and contain cream-colored pages with striped headbands.9 inches tall. The bindings are near fine with very light rubbing at the spine ends and bright, intact gilt. The internal pages are clean and free of foxing. The slipcase is in good condition, exhibiting minor surface scuffing and light dust accumulation.
