A reproduction print of Sir Luke Fildes 1891 painting titled The Doctor, depicting a physician intently observing a sick child in a rustic cottage interior. The work is presented in a decorative frame featuring a faux-tortoise shell finish with white scrollwork corner accents and a gilded inner cove. The reverse is secured with a cardboard backing.Framed dimensions: 12.5 inches (H) x 14.5 inches.The print exhibits significant overall fading and yellowing with heavy toning throughout. The frame shows visible wear including scattered chips, cracking to the decorative finish, and brittle adhesive tape remnants on the reverse.
