Mid-to-late 20th Century Afghan Turkoman / Bokhara style, “ Door of the Tent” hand-knotted wool rug. This rug features a distinct dual-panel compartmentalized design, giving it a unique architectural quality, unlike standard repeating Bokhara patterns.Measures 8 foot by 5 foot 6 inchesThe rug is in very good condition with a full and even pile throughout. The white cotton fringes at both ends are intact and show minimal signs of wear, and there are no apparent stains, repairs, or areas of significant localized wear.
