Art Deco Onyx Horse Bookends

This pair of hand-carved bookends is crafted from banded cream and white onyx in a stylized Art Deco manner. Each piece features a simplified horse head with an open mouth and stepped mane, mounted to a rounded rectangular onyx base. The heads are secured from the underside with screws, and one base retains a small numerical paper label.Height: 9.5 inchesBase Length: 7.5 inches.Good vintage condition with scattered nicks and chips along the base edges. Surface soil is present within carved details, and one piece exhibits a visible fissure or old repair with dark adhesive residue at the base of the ears.
