Austin Productions 1961 Nefertiti Bust

This mid-century composite plaster bust depicts the Egyptian Queen Nefertiti with a bronze-toned metallic patina, mounted on a rectangular light-colored wooden base. The lower reverse is incised with the maker mark reading AUSTIN INC PROD 61 alongside a copyright symbol. The sculpture is modeled after the 14th-century BCE original and features intentional archaeological distressing to the ears and crown.15.5 x 7.5 x 9 inches.Fair to good condition. General surface scuffing and small nicks are present along the lower edges of the bust and the wooden plinth.
