Vintage cast iron pig with a single longitudinal seam denoting a two-part sand molding line, which exhibits a hand-finished slightly uneven, wavy surface. There is rust bleed-through, which indicates paint over cast metal, no primer layer of any kind, typical of early casting foundry work in the 1940s-50s. This is vintage, not a reproduction. The maker is unknown; it is not a bank or a doorstop, but a small regional foundry decorative pig in an unusual (rare) white color Condition: Shows all the signs consistent with vintage sand-cast iron pieces of this age and use. Expected aged patina for an authentic piece of a rare color.
