Gutta Percha Ambrotype Union Case Gutta Percha Ambrotype Union Case L., P. & CO. Bee Hive. Littlefield, Parsons, & Co. Ambrotype Union Case is made of Gutta percha and has an elaborate scene on both sides depicting a bee hive with bees flying, sheaves of wheat, and various farm tools such as a scythe, shovel, rake, and plow. The border consists of a floral motif with swirling leaves and the wheat is repeated in the corners. Space for one photo with a gold tin border and glass and padded wine colored velvet on the other side. There is a crack in the bottom of frame, and a corner that is damaged.
