Antique Japanese porcelain bouillon cup and saucer. Decorated with hand painted pink flowers on the outside of the cup. With hand painted pink, blue, and brown chrysanthemum flowers framed in gold gilding and beading in a border of black, gold, green, red, and yellow feathers. Gold gilding and beading along the edge. Marked on the bottom with a blue Maple leaf and Nippon Hand Painted. This mark was used between 1891 and 1911. Has wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. The cup measures approximately 5 1/2 inches wide from handle to handle x 2 3/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 3/4 inches wide.
