Antique British porcelain dessert dish with relief molded shell and scrollwork handles with gold highlights and gadroond edge. Decorated with a green and gold floral pattern. Has the Spode Felspar Porcelain mark on the base. This mark is listed in books on British pottery as being used between 1815 and 1827, but Spode introduced felspar porcelain in 1821. Also has the pattern number 3941 in red. Has wear to the gilding, and wear consistent with age and use, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 11 7/8 inches from handle to handle x 7 1/2 inches wide x 2 3/8 inches tall. We can offer packaging and shipping on this lot to a domestic USA address for $30.
