Beautiful large porcelain dinner plate. Decorated with a very nicely hand painted brown and white scene of Place de La Concorde in Paris France over an white background. With a thin band of gold gilding around the center scene, and a band of pink framed in gold gilding along the border. Gold gilding along the edge. Signed by the artist V. Wolkoff. Marked on the reverse Limoges France in green. Also signed on the back with the name of the scene, Place de la Concorde and the date 1933. "The Place de la Concorde is one of the major public squares in Paris, France. Measuring 8.64 hectares in area, it is the largest square in the French capital." May have some wear to the gilding, but otherwise excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 10 3/8 inches wide.
