Antique Japanese porcelain vase. Decorated with hand painted pink roses and other flowers in orange, yellow, and dark pink with pink ribbon over a white center framed in gold bands and gold beading. With white, gold, and cobalt panels above and below. Has raised gold leaf swags around the shoulder and gold acanthus leaves with raised gold highlights and beading around the bottom. Gold Greek Key design around a cobalt rim. Gold gilding to the handles. Marked on the bottom Hand Painted M Nippon with a wreath. This mark was used by the Morimura Brothers in Nippon (Japan) between 1911 and 1921. Has wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 6 7/8 inches wide from handle to handle x 9 1/4 inches tall. We can offer packaging and shipping on this lot to a domestic USA address for $30.
