Staffordshire child's plate from England. Blue transferware with hand coloring. Franklin's Proverb Employ time well if thou meanest to gain leisure. One today is worth two tomorrows. Since thou art not sure of a minute, throw not away an hour. No chips or cracks. There is some crazing and stains and heavy wear to outer edge paint. Measures approximately 7 inches diameter.
