Antique British bone china octagonal plate. Decorated with a hand painted landscape scene with mountains, a body of water, trees, and two figures sitting on a log. Has a turquoise enamel border. Gold gilding along the edge and inner rim. Marked on the bottom with a double c mark with Copeland underneath. This mark was used between 1851 and 1885. Also has an impressed date code for 1878. Has wear to the gilding, some scratches to the scene, and a small in manufacture stacking flake to the foot rim. Measures approximately 9 1/8 inches wide.
