Satsuma handled dish with 1000 flowers design. Made under the Shimazu clan in the Meiji period from 1868 to 1912. Very nice condition without chips or cracks or scratches. Measures approximately 7 7/8 inches long, and 4 3/4 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches tall. Vibrant colorful flowers rimmed in gold, gold gilt under handle.
