Antique German porcelain spill vase. Decorated in alternating panels with hand painted Dresden flowers over pink and scenes with hand painted Watteau scenes / courting couples. Each panel is framed by gold gilt scrollwork designs. Gold gilding along the rim and gold bands to the base. Has Rococo revival scrolled feet with gold and turquoise highlights above the base. Marked on the bottom with a T over an X crossed mark and Germany in blue. This is an overglaze decorator's mark used by Carl Thieme in Dresden between 1891 and 1901. Has wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 2 3/4 inches wide x 5 1/2 inches tall. We can offer packaging and shipping on this lot to a domestic USA address for $30.
