Blue and gold butterflies cup and saucer set. The pattern is marked NP 3754. It is likely Minton or Brown Westhead, Moore & Co from England. Looks to be a Richelieu shape. The NP stood for New Pattern and was used by both companies, Minton would use it for one offs as well. I have seen no others with this number and the NP pattern cups are very uncommon. Aesthetic period, circa 1860s or 1870s. Very good condition without chips or cracks. There is some gold loss on handle. Approximate measurements are: The saucer is 5 1/4 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/4 inches diameter. We can offer packaging and shipping on this lot to a domestic USA address for $30.
