Aqua eight sided medicine bottle. Embossed on three of the eight panels DRS IVANS & HART. NEW. YORK. Open pontiled base. With applied tapered lip. Circa 1840s. Condition is attic found with internal content staining and there is an approximately 1 inch flat chip off the base edge, and there is an approximately 2 inch spider shaped crack on the reverse side unembossed panel from the embossing. The damage is to the reverse of the bottle and the bottle still displays well. This is a rare early New York medicine bottle that I cannot find any previous records of one sold. Measures approximately 3 3/8 inches wide x 7 3/4 inches tall. We can offer packaging and shipping on this lot to a domestic USA address for $30.
