Antique British white pearlware jug in a molded quilted diamond pattern. With gold floral designs around the shoulder. Gold gilding to the rim and edge of the handle. Impressed MEIGH on the base. Produced by Job Meigh. Circa 1805 to 1834. Has crazing typical of earthenware and wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 8 3/8 inches wide from spout to handle x 6 1/2 inches tall. We can offer packaging and shipping on this lot to a domestic USA address for $30.
