Early 18th century engraved friendship or marriage glass. Ver Sprengen Soll Man Nicht Brengen Loosely translates to "Don't put off till tomorrow what you can do today". It has a motif of two hands holding one ring and has two hearts below, representing friendship or marriage union. It has no chips or cracks, the base is not perfectly round. Note controlled tear drop bubble in stem. Measures approximately 7 inches tall and 2 7/8 inches in top diameter. We can offer packaging and shipping on this lot to a domestic USA address for $30.
