This vintage table lamp is a striking example of mid-century organic modernism and American folk art, carefully crafted from a natural cypress knee root. Sourced from southern swamps, the unique wood structure has been peeled and finished with a high-gloss lacquer to highlight its dramatic, twisting grain and deep warm tones. Serving as both a functional light source and a standalone rustic sculpture, this piece embodies the popular 20th-century trend of bringing unrefined, biophilic elements directly into home decor. The lamp is sold as is.
