Featured in this lot antique oak hall tree seat circa 1890 to 1915. This antique American oak hall seat, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, showcases the striking wood grain of quarter-sawn oak combined with stylized, organic S-curve armrests and a central floral relief carving. Originally the lower half of a tall hall tree, the piece features a functional, hinged lift-up seat that opens to a convenient storage compartment alongside an integrated metal umbrella loop on the right armrest.
