This antique American oak hall seat, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, showcases the striking wood grain of quarter-sawn oak combined with stylized, organic S-curve armrests and a central floral relief carving. Originally the lower half of a tall hall tree, the piece features a functional, hinged lift-up seat that opens to a convenient storage compartment alongside an integrated metal umbrella loop on the right armrest.
