XL Mid Century Italian Murano Copper Uranium

An exceptionally large and vibrant Murano glass bowl, hand-blown with a striking combination of white and gold copper splatters. The bowl itself is hefty and thick, shaped by hand to display intricate patterns of golden copper spots and finished with a translucent yellow uranium glass rim that glows vividly under black light. One end is pinched, evoking the look of a shell, and it narrows down to a small foot at the base. The base is smoothly polished flat. The bowl has no artist mark or labels. MEASUREMENTS 13 in (33.0 cm) long x 11 ½ in (29.2 cm) wide x 3 1/8 in (7.9 cm) deep. Weighs 5 lb 6.4 oz. CONDITION There are no breaks, chips, cracks, or repairs. There are a few wear marks on the translucent rim and wear to the polished base There are manufacturing flaws, such as bumps, imperfections and bubbles. The white and copper center of the bowl is in fantastic condition. A large dramatic hand blown glass bowl to decorate with or to collect.
