Wood Marquetry Tilt Picture Frame

A labor-intensive picture frame made with pieces of different colored wood that tilts by means of two brass screws. There is a photo of a lovely woman from the same time period. It is embossed with "Hollywood" and so it could be a screen star that I don't recognize, or a young lady hoping to be discovered. The back is covered in a dark paper board. The lower left of the photo has an embossed mark that reads "E.D. SWEENEY HOLLYWOOD". MEASUREMENTS 14 ¼" (31.2 cm) wide x 2" (5.1 cm) deep x 11 ¼" (28.6 cm) tall. Weighs 1 lb 3 oz CONDITION The wood frame is in very good general condition. There are two small chips on the top edge of the back. There is a gouge or scratch on the front of the base. There is wear to the feet. The photo has a nice black and white antique look. The picture frame and photograph evoke the captivating glamor of the 1930s Hollywood era.
