A distinctive vintage Mexican sterling silver ring featuring a large oval bezel-set agate cabochon as the centerpiece. The setting is adorned with a decorative border of silver beads/balls arranged around the perimeter of the oval face in a classic Mexican folk art style. The top and bottom of the setting feature additional ornamental elements with raised ball details in a cluster formation. The shank is a split/double band design that widens as it approaches the setting, providing structural support. The back of the setting is a closed, domed backing with visible maker's marks stamped into the silver. The overall piece shows age-appropriate patina and oxidation, giving it an authentic vintage character.
