An open-work sterling silver ring featuring a triangular shadowbox-style frame with a central elongated marquise (navette) shaped stone inlay setting. The frame is constructed with twisted rope-wire decorative elements on either side of the central stone, creating an open lattice design. The band splits into a double shank leading into the geometric top. The back of the stone setting is marked 'STERLING' in stamped block letters within a diamond-shaped cartouche. The silver shows significant patina and oxidation, consistent with age and use.
