Hand-crafted wooden souvenir model of a three-masted schooner. The ship features a carved hull, three dowel masts, and sails constructed from thin wooden sheets with distinctive scalloped trailing edges. The rigging is formed from simple brown cord. The port side of the hull bears the hand-painted inscription SOUVENIR GASPE in red and black lettering, identifying the piece as a work of folk art from the Gaspé Peninsula in Quebec, Canada. The model is mounted on small wooden blocks serving as a stand. Dimensions (measured against a ruler): approx. L 40 cm x H 29 cm. Condition: Fair condition. The model exhibits a significant accumulation of dust across all surfaces. One of the central sails is damaged with a large section missing. There is minor paint loss and general surface wear to the hull finish. The rigging appears largely intact.
