This is a mixed collection cookbooks and booklets covering slow-cooker meals, fruit desserts, and a classic Julia Child French cooking. The group includes a substantial 2006 Crock-Pot cookbook plus two older promotional/mini cookbooks with collectible vintage appeal. 1. Rival Crock-Pot Stoneware Slow Cooker – Slow Cooker Favorites. Published by Publications International, Ltd., copyright 2006. ISBN-13 978-1-4127-2495-1 / ISBN-10 1-4127-2495-3. Large hardcover with plastic comb binding. The contents run through page 122 and include Crock-Pot tips plus sections for Mexican cooking, Italian dishes, winter warmers, Asian flavors, chili and barbecue, American classics, and sweets/desserts. Your copy appears Good to Very Good overall. The binding is intact and the interior is generally clean, with some light cover/edge wear and minor marks. 2. Fruit Desserts in the Continental Manner. A vintage promotional recipe booklet prepared using Birds Eye Fruits Continental, issued by General Foods. The booklet contains about 42 pages and features fruit-based desserts such as shortcakes, ice cream desserts, cakes, trifles, fruit punches, pies and tarts, with colorful period illustrations. The back indicates it was printed in the U.S.A. in 1967. Condition is Fair to Good with noticeable cover rubbing, creasing, edge and corner wear, small tears and general age-related handling wear. Interior pages remain readable and attractive. 3. Julia Child – Complete Dinners from The French Chef Cookbook, Vol. 1. A small Bantam Minibook, published July 1972, containing selections from Julia Child's The French Chef Cookbook. It includes “Dinners for Four in Half an Hour,” chicken, veal/pork, fish, chop, steak and ham dinners, plus Boeuf Bourguignon, Paella à L'Américaine, roast leg of lamb, lamb stew, French veal stew and notes on wine. Because this is a vintage Julia Child promotional/minibook rather than a standard modern edition, it has more collector interest than an ordinary used recipe booklet. Current full-size editions of The French Chef Cookbook are still commercially available, confirming continued interest in the title. Fair Acceptable Condition. It has substantial age toning, worn and creased covers, bent corners, edge wear, small tears and handwritten previous-owner notes on the rear. The binding is still intact in the photos and the recipe pages appear readable.
