The lot consists of a tapered cylindrical stick stand of stave construction, appearing to be oak with a contrasting dark-finished wooden rim. The stand contains a selection of items: an offset-handle walking cane, a reaching tool, and a detached rubber quad-base attachment. The walking cane is constructed from black-finished metal with a foam-padded grip; the shaft bears a blue label marked EFFECT 9. The reacher tool is a Grip 'n Grab model by the Ettore Products Company, featuring a blue and black plastic handle with a trigger mechanism. The handle end-cap is marked ETTORE PRODUCTS COMPANY, OAKLAND, CA., MADE IN U.S.A. The quad-base is a four-pronged black rubber attachment intended for use on a cane shaft.
