A collection of vintage card game equipment and related reference ephemera. The lot features a Swiss Jass set by AGM, contained within a burgundy faux-leather folding case with gold-tone embossed lettering. The interior comprises a brown moulded plastic insert housing a deck of playing cards bearing the AGM manufacturer mark, a white notepad, an orange sponge, and dedicated slots for chalk, while the lid interior is finished with a score-keeping surface. Also included is a vintage boxed set of four triangular plastic playing card holders in yellow, red, blue, and white, featuring bi-lingual French and English packaging. A rectangular light-wood storage box with a sliding recessed lid is present, along with two small decorative cubes featuring card suit motifs. The collection is completed by a stack of five paperback books: 150 Ways to Play Solitaire, Bicycle Official Rules of Card Games, Crossword Solver, The Dell Crossword Dictionary by Kathleen Rafferty, and Daly's Billiard Book. Dimensions measured against a tape measure: Jass case width: approx 13.3 cm Card holder box width: approx 15.2 cm. Condition: The items are in varied condition consistent with age and use. The paperback books show shelf wear, with creasing and rubbing to the spines and edges. The Jass case and card holder box appear well-preserved and complete. The wooden storage box exhibits minor surface scuffs and scratches.
