A collection of lathe-turned wooden vessels crafted from a dark-grained hardwood, possibly rosewood or similar tropical timber. The group comprises a cylindrical jar with a fitted lid and turned finial, a shallow bowl raised on a pedestal foot, and three smaller open bowls of differing profiles, including one with a waisted foot and two with rounded bodies. Each piece displays distinct natural grain patterns beneath a polished finish. Lidded jar: height approx. 14 cm Pedestal bowl: diameter approx. 16.5 cm Small bowls: height approx. 7.5 cm. Condition: The items exhibit significant drying cracks and checking consistent with the material. Radial splits are visible across the lid of the jar, and one small bowl has a prominent vertical crack through the wall. There is evidence of general surface wear, scuffing, and minor edge losses to the foot rims. One bowl contains residual wax to the interior.
