A three-seater sofa dating from the late 20th century, featuring a contemporary design with oversized flared scroll arms and a triple-contoured fixed backrest. The frame is fully upholstered in a woven tapestry-style fabric decorated with an abstract, painterly floral and foliate pattern in a palette of muted steel blue, dusty rose, grey, and cream. The sofa is raised on four short, square-tapered wooden legs with a light natural finish. It is supplied with three loose, reversible seat cushions and three rectangular cream-coloured scatter pillows. The style and form are consistent with designs attributed to manufacturers such as Krauses. Dimensions measured against a tape measure: Width approx. 74.5 inches Height approx. 32 inches. Condition: The sofa is in fair used condition. There are visible loose threads and minor fraying along the lower piping and welt on the front. General surface wear and light soiling consistent with age and domestic use are present; professional cleaning is recommended.
